Poems: Dark Nights

A dark and glib poem about birds and murder.

Poems: Dark Nights

The bats surrounding from the east,
The magpies flee toward the west,
The grey stone pillar, centre of all,
The grey brick graveyard, dare not fall,
And from the ground,
The devils weep,
Their bodies lay.

Yet not a single sound by day,
The smoky mist, smog, hay,
Yet in the night the angels weep,
Their deathly grunts forbid to sleep,
The daemons cry, from down below,
Everyone murdered,
Every last crow.
